No-Cost Emergency Dental Services Offered at Upcoming Adult Dental Day Clinic at Community Health Alliance’s Sparks Health Center

Access to dental care, especially for the uninsured, is often a major challenge.

Community Health Alliance, in partnership with LIBERTY Dental Plan, is hosting an Adult Dental Day clinic on Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The dental clinic will be held at Community Health Alliance’s Sparks Health Center located at 2244 Oddie Blvd, Sparks, NV 89431. This clinic is open to all adults, including LIBERTY Dental Plan members, uninsured, and refugees.

The clinic will operate on a walk-in basis only, with emergency dental services provided on a first come, first served basis. A wide range of dental services will be available to eligible individuals. These services include emergency care to relieve pain or swelling, limited oral exams, radiographs as needed, extractions, temporary fillings, palliative scaling to alleviate pain in areas with significant plaque or calculus buildup, build-ups for large fillings, and preventative services such as screenings and fluoride varnish.

However, it is important to note that certain dental services will not be available at this clinic. These services include comprehensive dental care, deep cleanings, crowns, veneers, dentures, root canals, and cosmetic dentistry.

Community Health Alliance is committed to providing accessible healthcare to all members of the community. This initiative aims to address gaps in oral health coverage in our community.
