Biography
Elaine was born in Sacramento and grew up in a small town outside of Auburn, CA. After high school, she attended California State University, Sacramento, where she earned her undergraduate degree. Following graduation, she worked as a 911 dispatcher but soon realized her true passion lay in medicine. Determined to pursue a career in healthcare, she returned to school to obtain her nursing degree.
She relocated to Denver, Colorado, to attend the University of Colorado, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She began her career as a pediatric oncology nurse at Children’s Hospital Colorado and went on to spend 15 years in nursing, specializing in pediatrics, emergency medicine, and labor and delivery.
Elaine furthered her education by earning a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky, with a focus on holistic family care. She is passionate about providing comprehensive healthcare to families and is dedicated to serving underserved communities.
Personal Interests
She enjoys spending her free time outdoors hiking, biking, camping, or paddleboarding. She also enjoy traveling around the world and experiencing different cultures
