Born in Mexico and raised in Reno, NV, Elisa cultivated a deep appreciation for healthcare from an early age. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Nevada, Reno, all while working full-time as a certified nursing assistant. This hands-on experience provided her with valuable insight into the impact of preventive medicine and the role of nutrition in managing and preventing chronic diseases. Driven by her passion for holistic care, Elisa pursued and completed her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno. Throughout her journey, she has developed a strong commitment to improving healthcare access and is dedicated to serving underserved communities to bridge critical gaps in healthcare services.
