Biography
Elizabeth is a third-generation nurse from Las Vegas who began her nursing career at Stanford Children’s Hospital after graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She has also lived and worked in Yosemite National Park as a backcountry medic and ropes rescue technician as a part of Yosemite’s Search and Rescue Team. Elizabeth eventually left California to work for Novick Cardiac Alliance (NCA), an international medical organization that brings pediatric heart surgery services and education all over the world. She worked specifically in Libya and Iraq training local nurses to care for babies and children after heart surgery. She returned to the United States, earned her nurse practitioner degree from Johns Hopkins University, and is excited to be back home in Nevada.

Elizabeth enjoys spending time in the mountains with her partner and friends, rock climbing, trail running, and skiing.
