Biography
Lauren grew up in Red Bluff California and moved to Reno, Nevada in 2016. Lauren’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in psychology from John F. Kennedy University and a master’s degree in counseling and psychology education from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, as well as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor Intern. Her commitment to continuous learning is evident through her certifications in Crisis Disaster and Trauma Training and her ongoing pursuit of full certification in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) training. She has deep interest in trauma informed practices and believes in a person-centered therapeutic approach, having client needs and goals at the forefront of treatment.
Having concentrated her efforts in working with adolescents, families, and couples, Lauren understands the unique challenges they face and provides tailored support to meet their needs and goals.
